What is this?

I’m Katherine Miller and I primarily write and edit work about politics (and sometimes tech or nebulous concepts like “time” or “what it’s like to get vaccinated”) for BuzzFeed News.

This particular newsletter is unlike many others in that it’s primarily a list of links for good reads and fun times, an outgrowth of a traditional Twitter thread I do annually with links to read. Sometimes, I also do a little book commentary, which runs toward fiction of a literary sort (I majored in English and really only like reading novels), or nonfiction that might intersect with politics, history, and tech.
